My name is Lindsey Trowbridge (she/her) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life, and moved to the Portland area in 2021.

I completed my Bachelors in Psychology in 2005 and my Masters in Clinical Counseling in 2017 from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. I completed the certification process to become a Registered Play Therapist in 2020. I have been trained in EMDR since 2019. I started my counseling career by working in a large agency and then transitioned to smaller group practices. In February of 2023, I created Be Me Therapy LLC as a solo private practice.

The primary counseling theories and techniques utilized include Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Directive Play Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Attachment- Based Therapy and Person Centered Theory.
